We had the pleasure of photographing our dear friends Tina and John for their engagement at local spots in and around San Antonio. Their wedding is going to be held in Eisenhower Park so we started there, taking the short walk/hike up to the beautiful spot they chose. The Park is a city park, on the Northwest side of San Antonio and it is dog friendly, with paved and unpaved trails all throughout. This park is a beauty, where you can get a true Texas hill country feel, while still in the city!
We then took the short drive to Cibolo Nature Center in Boerne Texas. Just 20 minutes away, Boerne is a gem. The Nature Center has beautiful tall grass prairies and the Cibolo creek which runs right through it. This Nature Center is also dog friendly and a playground for photographers! This is one of our favorite local spots because of the unique ecosystems you can find all in one place.
We spent the whole day exploring these spots, and when it was all over we had a nice cold beer at The Dodging Duck Brewhaus, the perfect ending to a long day in nature!
