Tumbled through Guadalupe River State Park

When we have a free day the first thing we want to do is get out into nature. The Guadalupe River was the perfect escape. The sounds of the river were so relaxing. We had a great time walking the trails and to our surprise, the wildlife was very active! As we made our way through the park we saw the biggest colony of harvester ants cutting and foraging, birds of every color collected food from the vegetation and the bark on the trees created such wonderful, artistic, patterns. We even spotted a little raccoon curling up in the brush. It’s so great to interact with mother earth.
