Marathon, TX was next on the Leh- Garza, Big Bend, itinerary before our one night of camping in Big Bend. We planned to do test runs of some night photography so we could know what to expect when we finally did get to Big Bend. We arrived midday so we gave Tina & John a little tour of the town.
Marathon doesn’t have much, but it’s an artist’s town which is where it gets its flare. As the sun began to set we bundled up and grabbed our gear for our photo shoot with the stars.
It was a freezing night but luckily we had a million layers of clothes on and our Mr. Heater. We photographed & painted with light until our fingers and toes were numb.
Early the next morning we were ready for Big Bend! We packed up and started our way to the next adventure.
